Crispy Granola

Think of this as your clean-slate granola, which can be embellished with fresh or dried fruit, toasted nuts and seeds, and even coconut. Or just enjoy it as is to let the marvelous taste of maple shine through.

While the ancient Greeks were the first to embrace cereal as the breakfast of champions, our pour-and-serve varieties all started in the late 1800s with what was first called "granula" but changed to the more palatable name of granola by Dr. Kellogg, who went on to found the cereal empire based on its success. Lucky for us, the fervor for granola made it the "it" health food of the 60s and 70s, sparking an explosion in flavor varieties that just keeps on keepin' on.

But not all granola is created equally, and this one happens to to be made in small batches using only non-GMO ingredients that are also grown according to fair trade policies. Crispy as all get out, this granola all about the rich, deep, golden flavor of maple. It's as delicious as it sounds, whether for a satisfying breakfast or on-the-go snack.
